Woah, I didn't even realize someone left me a message here. Sorry for the slow response. I'm still getting used to making edits, but I'm glad that I've helped someone.

Advisory circular, not CertAlert?

IveGoneAway (talk) 19:11, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I’m not entirely sure; circular was all that was written and I didn’t know what it was so I just looked it up and added the link.

If you think that I added the wrong link I would 100% agree with whatever your judgement is on the matter, given I know very little. Knotimpressed (talk) 19:18, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

CertAlert does make more sense here I think, should we change the article wording to reflect that? Knotimpressed (talk) 19:33, 25 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Stampede/Crush

edit

FYI: As a followup to your post at WP:ERRORS, another editor renamed 2022 Port Harcourt stampede with "crush", but it was contested and reverted.[1] A formal WP:RM request would be best if you still wanted to pursue this. I had the same suspicion days ago about it really being a stampede, but I found very few sources using crush to describe this event, perhaps only BBC, (if I recall). Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 07:16, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I really appreciate the FYI, I also understand now that the title was out of scope for ITN. I'm fairly certain that crush and stampede can be used as synonyms, generally news sources seem to use stampede as readers understand it better, even if it is incorrect. I do see some sources saying that stampedes are when people are running from some fear or danger and a crush is when it is towards something, but I'm unsure how reputable it is. In the end, while I do think that it should be moved I'm busy and don't want to go through the process of a RW, especially with the backlog and for such a minor article. I appreciate all the information, have a great day.

Your edit to Fluorouracil

edit

I couldn't easily understand how this supposed-error came about, which you characterised as "Minor typo fix". I couldn't remember writing it that way; was changed for the worse, just a few hours after, and I'd have to conclude the poor grammar was deliberate, not inadvertent. I've added an updated pic, and restored the original gist of the caption - hope it lasts  . regds,--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 18:07, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

To be entirely honest I don't completely understand what you mean by deliberate poor grammar, however in terms of my edit summary I was lazy and saw the edit as nothing more than a small typo, hence "Minor typo fix". Either way though, great edit on your part, looks good from my end and I also hope it lasts!
Unrelated to this edit, man is fluorouracil nasty stuff! edit: I was wondering where that second image came from, I appreciate all of your uploads to Commons! Knotimpressed (talk) 18:16, 12 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Joel Spira (businessman), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page AC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
