Hello, I'm Chaotic Enby. I noticed that you made a comment on the page User talk:Badger Drink that didn't seem very civil, so it may have been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. See also WP:ASPERSIONS and WP:GRAVEDANCING. Chaotic Enby (talk ¡ contribs) 02:24, 2 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (User talk:HomixidePEDO) for a period of 48 hours for gravedancing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cabayi (talk) 07:59, 5 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

RFA

edit

I've moved your contribution to the RFA to the comments section, as editors must be extended-confirmed to vote. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 21:29, 6 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Also, I know that they have to be autopatrolled. Kolano123 (talk) 07:24, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
@ScottishFinnishRadish Are you saying that if I am not Extended confirmed, I have to strike out the votes in the comments section? Kolano123 (talk) 16:17, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I moved your vote to the comment section so it is not counted in the tally when the RFA concludes. It's fine there. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:20, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply

Some friendly advice

edit

Hi there, and welcome to Wikipedia! I see you are currently navigating your way through various backroom processes, and would just like to drop a quick note of advice.

Many of Wikipedia's processes are quite challenging to understand as a newcomer, and it is often worth treading gently into these spaces. I see you already ended up in a bit of a spot with being blocked from a talk page for gravedancing, and I would prefer to see that avoided in the future.

Some advice regarding the below:

  • Sending this note to an editor with 40,000 edits is misguided and a little rude. They quite rightly got their back up at your message, which indicates that it didn't land.
  • There is absolutely no need to be doing things like this 13 years after the editor was blocked.
  • Reporting this editor 5 days after they last edited and were warned is pointless, as explained to you. Please read and understand the comments there fully.
  • This is odd.
  • Warning an editor 3 months after they last edited, and then posting this, is pointless and adds nothing to the discussion.

I think it would be best if you stayed away from internal processes like the above while you learn Wikipedia - and the best way to do this is to edit articles, engage in article talk page discussions etc.

Your submission at Articles for creation: Taphophoyx has been accepted

edit

Taphophoyx, which you submitted to Articles for creation, has been created.

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.

The article has been assessed as Start-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. Most new articles start out as Stub-Class or Start-Class and then attain higher grades as they develop over time. You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.

Since you have made at least 10 edits over more than four days, you can now create articles yourself without posting a request. However, you may continue submitting work to Articles for creation if you prefer.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.

If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.

Thanks again, and happy editing!

Talk:Public school (England)

edit

Hi, you have closed the discussion, but it has been open for less than 7 days and there is no clear consensus. Could you please reopen it to see if a consensus develops? Also, you mention you have moved the talk page, but it not sure if that has been done. Vpab15 (talk) 19:30, 18 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
