Welcome to Wikipedia, Kostargr! I'm Royal Autumn Crest, and I've been assigned as your mentor. Around 10% of new Wikipedia accounts receive a mentor randomly taken from a list of volunteers. It just means I'm here to help with anything you need! We need to have all kinds of people working together to create an online encyclopedia, so I'm glad you're here. Over time, you will figure out what you enjoy doing the most on Wikipedia.

You might have noticed that you have access to a tutorial and suggested edits. It's recommended that you take advantage of this, as it'll make learning how to edit Wikipedia easier.

If you need assistance with anything or have any questions, click on the "Get editing help" button on the bottom right corner of your screen. This will open up a module with links to help pages and a place to ask me questions. You can also ask me questions directly on my talk page, or go here to get help from the wider community.

Again, welcome to Wikipedia!Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 11:55, 25 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

How do you know survivor results earlier? And what about todays' semifinal. Probably a guess about marialenas' vote out. 2A02:1388:4087:DC77:0:0:EC8E:B16F (talk) 21:45, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Of course I'm guessing. Nikos and Sakis are strong and popular...Marialena doesn't have a chance! Kostargr (talk) 22:01, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Great job! But what about the players' vote in the councils, especially in the earlier days where you couldn't easily understand who voted against whom? Another guess based on the total votes received by every player? 2A02:1388:4087:DC77:0:0:EC8E:B16F (talk) 22:44, 10 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
Are you from Greece?
Unfortunately during the show there were many spoilers about the results. Sometimes they also revealed the council votes. Kostargr (talk) 07:30, 11 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

why should the page be deleted?? Kostargr (talk) 19:31, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've written my reasoning in the AfD discussion, but I haven't found any confirmation that this season will take place, and it doesn't seem like any information exists about it yet. Essentially, for these sorts of things, while it's likely that there will be an 11th season, you have to wait until there's some sort of information about it or confirmation before creating the article (for example, the articles for previous seasons were all created shortly before broadcasting started). If there's anything I got wrong, do let me know! Happy to discuss. GoodCrossing (talk) 19:34, 12 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:57, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Just the 2 of Us (Greek TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Giorgos Papadopoulos. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 06:18, 29 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Survivor 2021 logo and host.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Survivor 2021 logo and host.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:40, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I uploaded this photo twice by accident. The article about survivor 21 has the right logo image! Kostargr (talk) 17:52, 5 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable non-free use File:Aris Soiledis.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Aris Soiledis.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 01:36, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

I uploaded the image to make the person's page better. If you think that a violation happened, I apologize. You can erase it. Kostargr (talk) 01:48, 13 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
