March 2019

edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to KRFC, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ——SerialNumber54129 13:32, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Krfc-ryano. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page KRFC, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ——SerialNumber54129 13:33, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Reverted move of KRFC

edit

I reverted your move of KRFC as the KRFC you highlighted isn't a radio station with an F.C.C. license, nor an organization with K.R.F.C. as its initials. "KRFC-AM 1313" is an internet joke from what I can tell.Stereorock (talk) 10:36, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
