I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. wikiversity vote
editI see, I'll correct that (I accidently had my sig pointing my en page.... I was 99% sure it pointed to meta... anyway thanks for pointing that out!) Ryan Norton T | @ | C 07:55, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
Wikiversity
editI've removed the strikethrough. If you were talking about a link to my Wikipedia user page on Meta, it's done. If you were talking about having a registered account on Meta, I do- I just had my signature link to my Wikipedia user page, rather than to Meta. That's fixed as well. GPS disambiguation
editThanks for pointing out that Global Positioning System didn't have a link to GPS (disambiguation). If you encounter that again, it's really easy to fix: just add, e.g., {{redirect|GPS}}
to the top of the page that the abbreviation redirect is to (in this case, you would want to add it to Global Positioning System). inkling 11:45, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
Evolving Virtual Enterprise
editA {{prod}} template has been added to the article Evolving Virtual Enterprise, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Davidprior 22:53, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
not Microsoft C not Visual C++
editI don't know how why you contacted me as I have never made any edits to neither "Microsoft C" nor "Visual C++" articles. Dyl (talk) 07:32, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
OK, now I remember. I created the redirection as part of the Hotlist missing articles project. At the time the Visual C++ was the only Microsoft C compiler article. Feel free to change it if there's a more appropriate article. Dyl (talk) 16:06, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Calculator input methods
editHello Krischik. I disagree with the material you have added about entry formats.
The casio 7000G has exactly the same input method as the the casio 9850 series.
The 9860 has two modes: the first is the same as the previous casio models, the second is a more like the way equations are written on paper.
The phrase Direct Algebraic Logic is a trademark of Sharp. It is not a general term in use. Casio tends to use the phrase V.P.A.M Wikicgc (talk) 13:23, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Keystroke programmable
editA tag has been placed on Keystroke programmable requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. The article AdaCore has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No evidence of notability as established by significant coverage in multiple, independent reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Psychonaut (talk) 09:50, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
