Wikipedia Analysis

edit

Kahnah Shelton Professor Schuette English 400 February 10, 2016 Rhetorical Analysis Wikipedia Flint water crisis strengths • A lead section that gives an easy-to-understand overview • A clear structure • Neutral content • Reliable sources Flint water crisis weakness • Some sections seem overly long in proportion to their importance The article started on February 8, 2016. The old version had a lot of information but the way that it was presented seemed to be out of place and disorganized. It also seemed to have information that was unnecessary to the sections of the article. New material started to be added on February 9, 2016 that went through many revisions then a couple more revisions on February 10, 2016. The revisions were made by TomCat4680, 100.8.130.87, Donner60, Neutrality, and 12.229.143.130. This article took 2 days to get to its current stage. This page is still active as the last edit was 10.53pm on February 10, 2016. The editors were very active in the conversation. The main reasons were to make sure that the information is accurate and to say thank you for all the people who contributed to the information in the article. The tone of these conversations seemed happy and sincere because people were genially trying to find the best edit of this article. I didn’t see the same editors that were in the history page. My Strengths to my edit of article • A lead section that gives an easy-to-understand overview • A clear structure • Neutral content My weakness to my edit of article • Some sections seem overly long in proportion to their importance I changed a name of a section of the article and I corrected some misspelled words.
