The causes of child abuse in Namibia are the following: Child Abuse

• Loss of Parents
• Unemployment

There are four major categories of child abuse:Domestic Child Abuse

1. neglect,
2. physical abuse,
3. psychological or emotional abuse, and
4. sexual abuse

The law is being used to address serious incidents of domestic violence
