Ways to improve Anxious People

edit

Hello, Kstern,

Thank you for creating Anxious People.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The first reference brings a blank page. Not good. Third reference is about the Netflix version, not the book. This article and references do not meet WP:NBOOK. Kindly do the needful, look to WP:BASIC and supply reliable sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

Article talk page use

edit

Hi Kstern, please be mindful of WP:TPNO and WP:FOC, namely that article talk pages are for discussing content, not editors, especially in terms of WP:NPA policy. Bringing up conduct during discussions about content creates a distraction to the discussion and may inflame the situation. The topic you mentioned was collapsed to follow those policies, and undoing it and adding to that thread only furthered disruption of content discussion. Not to mention your comments go entirely against those talk page guidelines. If you wish to discuss editors, the best place to do that is on user talk pages first so it doesn't disrupt article discussion. I was very clear of some pretty blatant misrepresentation going on (only responding to 5/10 support votes, not to mention I was stepping back until recent pings and direct replies), but collapsing is generally more appropriate than outright removing comments. We also do need to be careful of wikilawyering where people try to claim the sheer volume and WP:WEIGHT of policy/content issues pressing against their comments is bludgeoning. There's just a lot going on in the topic, especially as discussions delve into varying points over time.

Either way, the collapse is there to prevent the current inflaming of the RM, especially as I said what my actual intents were for involvement. Please don't encourage further invective there by removing it again as that does not belong on the article talk page. I already made it clear I was mostly stepping back before those comments because most issues had already been addressed, so no need to add to escalation.
