Police Mental Health Awareness
editPolice in the United States of America are in charge of honoring and protecting citizens nation wide. However, the mental stability of officers has been questioned throughout the ages and specifically in the 2000's. There are instances regarding mistreatment of citizens, possible suicidal thoughts, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and many other mental ailments.[1] The impact of mentally screening officers could better the relationship between citizens and the law.
Law enforcement is often questioned about their tactics and qualifications. In order to protect citizens, enforcing the testing of the mental stability of officers keeps citizens safer. The goals of the mental awareness will aid in a more productive society that trusts the people who protect their everyday lives. There are many cases of mentally unstable police officers whom if at the time were tested perhaps could have been helped. The stress of police officers is massive and can be helped if the right resources are made available.

Bethany Peer Review
editThat your topic about police officers mental health is important. It is important because in our society right now people are being killed by policemen. We need to understand why people of color are being killed by police officers. But I am trying to understand how this connects to human rights. But we should understand how police officers are dealing with their mental health. Maybe even find a story about a police officer who has mental health issues or why this issue is so disgarded. Police officer safety and health
editHi! I reverted your edits to this article because your citations were not inline - you need to make sure that the citatiosn are in-line so we can tell what they are supposed to be verifying. Feel free to re-add the content and move the citations to the claims they're backing up. My only other note would be to make sure to be careful that the material isn't written like an essay - there are a few places that do come across as a little essay-ish.
