Thank you for your appreciation. I'm not so very confident in my ability to write encyclopedic style English myself. I try to learn the style of writing by reading up on the topics I might consider writing about - reading a thousand times more than would write, both the relevant Wikipedia articles and the source literature. This way I'm slowly learning the customary style of writing. My contributions, though, are mostly working with the text that's already on Wikipedia, trying to make it a little more accessible to general readers, without changing it much, adding citations, etc. That's much easier than actually writing. And the writing we do should just be collecting, organizing, simplifying, and referencing what academics have already written down for us, which is much easier than academic writing.
