Constantinople

You do not understand the very core aspect of how Wikipedia functions. The threshold for inclusion here is verifiability, not the "truth". Even if you were correct to say that "Kustantiniyye" is the "correct" name for the city, the vast majority of scholarly sources use "Constantinople." As a tertiary source, we have to follow the established consensus of scholars in whatever field we're discussing. I will tell you again: "Kustantiniyye" is only the Ottoman Turkish name for the city; while it might be the official name during that period, it's not the name by which it is known in English. There's a reason we use Kiev and not Kyiv; the former is much more widely used in English-language sources, even though the latter is the official name. The same logic supports Burma over Myanmar; the policy to follow established English-usage neatly dovetails with the policy to follow the consensus of experts in the field. This is not "wrong," it's how Wikipedia works. If you don't like it, you don't have to edit articles here. I'm not threatening you, I'm informing you that disruption of articles in contravention of long-standing policies will not be tolerated. Lastly, you don't even know me, or what I do on Wikipedia, so don't talk like you do.
