Camp Victoria

edit

Hello Kuname, I just wanted to point out to you that your recent contribution Camp Victoria contained some serious translation errors that I have now corrected. For example, you claimed that 370 soldiers were buried there, while the original Swedish text talked about the number encamped/located there. (370 dead would be the largest Swedish military losses in a single operation since 1809, if memory serves me, and should vastly exceed the total number of Swedish combat losses in all international missions from 1946 on.) Since the article closely followed sv:Camp Victoria I assume this was the result of machine translation, or otherwise an unfamiliarity with the language of the source material. Please take care so you don't introduce this type of factual errors into articles. Best regards, Tomas e (talk) 17:58, 8 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that, will take greater care next time Kuname (talk) 18:04, 8 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Speedy deletion nomination of Hard of Hearing Young People

edit

Hello Kuname,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Hard of Hearing Young People for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. JacobiJonesJr (talk) 12:22, 25 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Camp Victoria

edit

The article Camp Victoria has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Relies on a permanently dead link as source. Found no significant coverage of the subject.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
