Please review the Wikipedia policy on edit waring. Here is the first paragraph:

"An edit war occurs when editors who disagree about the content of a page repeatedly override each other's contributions, rather than trying to resolve the disagreement by discussion. Edit warring is unconstructive and creates animosity between editors, making it harder to reach a consensus. Users who engage in edit wars risk being blocked or even banned."

I have explained my edits to the article on its talk page. They are consistent with the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you disagree that they are, let's discuss the changes on the talk page. Please be sure to cite the appropriate sections of WP:MOS to support your reasons. Ground Zero | t 19:25, 28 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your response, particularly on how to write dates. This was new to me. I agree that links to ordinary words like "flag" only tend to make the page look motley (or at least colourful!), but it would be difficult to agree on what words are so ordinary they don't deserve a link - and what words do! I think opinions will differ there. - Anyway I have worked on Norwegian and Danish Wikipedia, where the rules differ, particularly on punctuation connected with numbers :-) --Kvent (talk) 08:42, 29 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Johnnie Spence, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Encino (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
