editHello, I'm Field Marshal Aryan. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Yu Shyi-kun, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Field Marshal Aryan (talk) 20:19, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
Do not use a flag template

editPlease stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Chinese unification, you may be blocked from editing. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 19:01, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

editHello, I'm 力. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Chiang Kai-shek seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. User:力 (power~enwiki, π, ν) 17:34, 10 July 2021 (UTC)

editUnreliable Source
editJust earlier i see you cited an article from facebook. (I already reverted it) please do not do this again, since facebook is overwhelmingly unreliable. See (WP:RSFB), also we cannot just put random sources and then think it's done, no. It's not about just putting a citation, but you also must read the cited link if any of the material in it correspond to the social fact and the social reality of the event. Also this place is not for political activism. If you have a political views, just contain it to your own. Do not reflect it onto articles, even if you really wanted to. 海之 15:44, 23 November 2021 (UTC)

February 2023
editHello, I'm Ost316. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Gao Zhihang. Please do not do this. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you wish to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Perhaps you meant to restore the edits that created the redirect, but instead you blanked the page. Ost (talk) 02:00, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi you are correct, I meant to restore the page. A single user on Feb 22 removed all contents from Gao Zhihang page thru multiple edits and then added redirect to a list page which has no details. I wanted to restore Gao Zhihang page (not a stub) to before that single user's changes Kylinki (talk) 06:43, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- Could you please help me there? Kylinki (talk) 06:46, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- Instead of blanking the page, you should undo or revert the edits that you dispute (presumably, this edit), or discuss it further with the editor or on the article's Talk page. —Ost (talk) 19:44, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- Could you please help me there? Kylinki (talk) 06:46, 24 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there! I reverted your revert. There appear to be a paucity of reliable sources out that focus on Gao Zhihang in a way that would meet our notability standards. For example, I was surprised to see Zhihang go almost unmentioned in the book Aces of the Republic of China Air Force. If you know of additional sources out there that haven't been used, please share them for evaluation. Thank you! Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 04:10, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- Hmmm. Following up here, I'm now seeing that the name used for Zhihang across the book is "Kao, Chih-hang", with the comma, which throws off the in-book search feature. That certainly moves the article closer to being notable than I was thinking previously. However, there are still few other sources out there, and the general notability guideline requires "significant coverage in [multiple] reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 04:17, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- Gao Zhihang is very prevalent in Chinese, he even has several other Wikipedia language pages. We can restore his page and build on from there Kylinki (talk) 05:22, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but other language Wikipedias do not factor into the English Wikipedia's notability standards. If Zhihang doesn't meet those, he can be discussed with citations within other articles with wider scopes. Please provide sources that can satisfy WP:GNG and we can go from there. editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at National Day of the Republic of China. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. This is at least the second time you have failed to adhere to WP:COMMONNAME regarding the term "Taiwan" in relation to the ROC in that article alone. Elsewhere, you have conflated "Taiwan" to mean the island when it clearly refers to the polity (eg. Special:Diff/1229055576.) Your NPOV editing continues to be unacceptable. - RovingPersonalityConstruct (talk, contribs) 01:40, 3 October 2024 (UTC)
