Wikipedia is at heart a volunteer project; people freely offer their work because they want to. They're not obligated to work on a specific article, or to do any work at all. It took months of painful debate to settle on a mutually acceptable text, and I don't want to subject myself to any more stress on its account.

I just don't have the time or energy to respond to everyone, so please accept my apologies if your message goes unanswered.
I will ordinarily answer on your talk page, unless requested to do otherwise. Thank you!

Hey Kyoko! Yeah, your ideas are what I had in mind - I was going to base this list off the List of Oz books. I have already started (just not saved) so perhaps if you wait until I'm done with stuff I have in progress it will save you some work ;) So far I have sections for Title (including alternate titles), Year written (with disclaimers/notes), First publications (Folios, etc.), Early performances (first, for the Queen, etc.), and Authorship (disputed or not, co-authors, etc). I may add sections for noteable actors, inspirations (since the Bard based most of his plays on works by other writers and playwrights), etc later on - as well as summaries. For now I just want to get the basic most important info out and I'll expand it as I go along :) Feel free to work on it if you like, but if you have other things to do I'm more than happy to work on it on my own. I've renewed interest in it and am making it my pet project for this week. Love a bunch, -- Editor at Large • talk20:36, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks very much for wishing me happy birthday! I had a great day - well, it could have been better, I spent all day studying for an exam! But let's concentrate on the positives, hmmm? :) My friends got me a great cake, a lot like this one, and since you've been so kind, I saved you a piece. Hope you enjoy it, and the rest of your day :) Riana(talk)10:42, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
So sorry I haven't replied to your e-mails yet - exams throwing my body clock out of whack... I promise you'll have a reply around this time tomorrow :) Love you, and take care!

Wow. She... is one of the famous figures in ballet history. I have a book with a chapter on her, and she is one of the first dancers I became familiar with when I was young (<10). That article needs a lot of work - especially the fact that it completely misses the point that she was better known as a ballerina than as a choreographer. Actually I had no clue she was a choreographer until just now. Ouch. I'll add her to WP:BALLET's to-do list... and, by the way, if you come across articles on ballet dancers or ones specifically relating to ballet (rather than dance in general) you can tag them with {{ballet-dance-stub}} and the talk page with {{WikiProject Ballet}} instead of the generic Dance ones :)
Hmm. Hate to break it to you, deary, but ... Don Quixote (ballet). Same ballet, but using the generic title that it is generally performed under now. Your stub is a good one, though, perhaps you could merge it with the main article if there is info which isn't in the other? And sure, you can let me know if you find ballet articles that need classification and I'll take care of it :) Love in heaps, -- Editor at Large • talk07:57, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

After posting so many requests to so many people, and almost on the verge of giving up... then you appear to edit the article Language movement. If I were to take on the formidable task of thanking you properly, probably I'd need your copyedit support. You are my most pleasant surprise here since I met Ayelie over an edit. Since Zora and Nirav (Rama's Arrow) left I was losing hope in WP. Now you have given it back. Thanks. Aditya Kabir21:31, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for all that you have done! How much love resides therein! All one's gifts are never gone: Not seen, perhaps, but stored within. Kindness is an inner sun.
Your unspent heart a message sends Of grace and sacrifice hard-won Upon which happiness depends!
Even if I thought for a whole year, I would still be unable to find the words to tell you how much you mean to me, my friend. Your comfort and kindness helped me so much, that saying "thank you" looks so little, so short... yet my most heartfelt gratitude is the most sincere gift I can think of. Wait for the "boink", sweetie! ;) Love you, Phaedriel - 05:15, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I remember reading on Phaedriel's talk page a few weeks ago that you have about 2,000 pages in your watchlist. How do you keep track of all the pages? I find I'm occupied with 66 (not including talk pages). Acalamari22:13, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Okay, that's fine; I was just curious. 2056 pages is a lot (double if you include talk pages, unless you already included them), and as I said, I find I'm occupied with 66 pages. I suppose it depends on the page you watch as well; pages like Alison's and Phaedriel's talk pages and Christina Aguilera (which I all watch) tend to change everyday, while Fergie (singer) and Raptor: Call of the Shadows (which I also watch) aren't edited as often as that. Acalamari22:41, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's okay, I knew that talk pages aren't included. :) With talk pages, you have 4112 pages in your watchlist. Anyway, I didn't want to bug you with this; I was just curious to know how you kept track. Thank you for telling me the answer. :) I hope I wasn't a pest. Acalamari23:13, 25 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hmm, I'm not really sure how to fix it, but have a look now, it might work? Ping me for another message once you've cleared your cache... Riana(talk)17:31, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ooops! Even before I could notice the in use template placed by you, I made two relatively minor edits in the article. Sorry :( My edits included changing a "the" to "The", and changing "February 21" and "February 22" to "21 February" and "22 February", respectively, in the subsection headings. Monthly Challenge: Submit an article to our Jumpaclass competition! Languishing unloved, it is a great way to improving that article you always meant to improve but never got round to. Challenge someone else to go head to head and see who can improve their article most!
Our Deputy Coordinators have been doing a fabulous job so far. Well done!
The portal is now looking very snazzy, well done to Fireplace for all his hard work.
The list of LGBT people to be sorted has now beed reduced by 20%. Please help us with it, all of us adding just one person a day would have a dramatic effect!
The Core Topics is now largely complete. The original aim of getting some kind of publication out of it is extremely long term - any short term uses we can make of it are welcome on the project talkpage.
A suggestion was made this month that we start our own wiki. Although the conclusion was that we felt we were a part of Wikipedia rather than a stand alone organisation, it seems there is an LGBT wiki already, at http://lgbt.wikia.com/wiki/Main_page . Members may be interested in getting involved there.
The Collaboration is now getting rather short on suggestions. Article nominations for August through December would be welcome on the talkpage.
There is now a list of Missing LGBT Topics. Help is needed to work out which topics can be made redirects or need to be created. Please contribute is you can.
An LGBT banner that was created for Wikipedia's internal ads system has now been adapted so it can be placed on blogs and websites. The html is <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:LGBT"><img src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/76/Qxz-ad48.gif" height="53" width="445"></a> Please credit Miranda and link to her userpage: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Miranda">Miranda</a>. The banner can be seen in action here. If you have a blog or a website, please consider adding the banner, either in a post or as part of your profile.

In the Bengali Language Movement article I found this sentence - "Police arrested students and other protesters, but many refused to post bail, and the police were subsequently forced to release them." It lies under the header - "Events of 1952". Aditya Kabir20:28, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

My sweet Kyoko and Cliff, I need you both to do me a great favor, if you can. Tomorrow afternoon, I'llgo on a short wikibreak of at least a couple of days, for reasons you already know (Cliff, I'm also sending you an email in the next hours). This means, I'll be unable to take care of sending the note to notify the upcoming Today's Wikipedians. If you could do this on my behalf, friends, I'd be delighted and grateful, because I don't want the little campaign to stop. Please, let me know if that's ok with you, k, guys? Love you both, Phaedriel - 22:12, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I've sent you an e-mail about this, Kyoko, but in just two hours it will be July 15 at the servers and I think (I'm not sure? I did it with K. Lastochka) that that is when she would notify them. Anyway, it's up to you. :) — $PЯIПGrαgђ 21:05, 14 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You might not remember me, but you were kind enough to leave a message of support on my talk page after I made an edit to Norwegian Wood. I was very graftull.
A couple of minutes ago I noticed someone had vandalized your user page and decided to repay your kindness with my own message.
Please do not pay attention to those people. They're not worthy of your time and most certainly not important enough to elicit any sort of emotional response on your part. -- Ishikawa Minoru18:03, 20 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

If one thing kept my birthday from being perfect, my dear Kyoko, was missing you... whatever is keeping you in real life, I pray with all of me that it finds you well, enjoying your life and looking at the future with hope. Know that I miss you, not sadly, but fondly; that your dear presence is wished, but the feeling of wishing you well and hoping you're happy is far stronger. And, as a testimony of this, I've saved a piece of my cake for you! :) Sweet as it is, it'll never get even close to your own sweetness. Love, Phaedriel - 20:10, 30 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
