Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

@Drmies: This new Wikipedia user is part of an educational project, just starting, and is working primarily on a team draft page at Draft:Dylan O'Donnell. This is the 8th year of running this, and there is a supporting course outreach dashboard (see below). There are some generic elements in the class usernames to associate them with this project and facilitate management. The use of identical IP addresses will relate to the use of the University's network. I am the facilitating tutor, and would be happy to answer or resolve any concerns. We had a similar issue with sockpuppetry some years ago. The following is posted at Draft Talk:Dylan O'Donnell, and similar on the 7 other new drafts being created: This page is part of an Educational Project by students of LIUC, Italy, with a course page at: https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/LIUC_-_Universit%C3%A0_Cattaneo/Digital_Technology_(Autumn_2022). The users of the group are new to the Wikipedia platform and are learning to edit following Wikipedia rules. They are open to any advice on improvements of the page in conformity to Wikipedia requirements and guidelines, and any help useful for the enhancement of the page will be gladly accepted. The student User names are: LIUC.Camilla03 LIUC.Jacob03 LIUC.Jordi03 LIUC.Mariarosa03 LIUC.Dario03 LIUCLucrezia03 LIUCBeatrice3 I see in the Autoblocks list that the following users, related to some of the other team projects, have also been blocked, and request that they are also unblocked: *LIUC7Martina12 *Camiliuc2 *Luisliuc2 *LIUC06ca.alfier *LIUCchiara1 *LIUC4Ilari04 *Leoliuc2 All the students and their allocated draft articles are listed at https://outreachdashboard.wmflabs.org/courses/LIUC_-_Universit%C3%A0_Cattaneo/Digital_Technology_(Autumn_2022). Many thanks. Limelightangel (talk) 16:13, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Biographies of living persons Noticeboard

edit

Hi, you added some content to the Biographies of living persons Noticeboard, however that page is for reporting issues with existing biographies of living people. I'd recommend reading the links posted above by Drmies regarding how to contribute. JaggedHamster (talk) 12:16, 29 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
