Feedback on initial edits

edit

Well done for starting to edit Wikipedia. I've not reverted your recent edits but some points to help and fix:

  • Do not create links out to pages already linked e.g. Lake Maggiore; Ticino. You link out only once, when the linked term is first used on the page. In this case the links have already been made earlier in the text. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking
  • You have included many irrelevant links out from your text which now need reverting (e.g. mammals, shrubs, coots, etc.), which is termed 'over-linking'. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking
  • Note the conventions for formatting External Links. Never just a URL. See: Help:External links and references
  • the link from the following text to an external website is incorrect. Add it as a reference using the Cite>website template or remove it.
