Feedback on initial edits

edit

Hi @LIUCbargigia6 Well done for starting to edit Wikipedia. I've not reverted your recent edits to La Thuile but they could be reverted - so some points to fix, help and learn from:

  • you have added some good factual content but none has any sources. I've reverted the unsourced bus information but all the other new text has the same issue. It will be removed if not sourced.
  • remove the duplicate links you've added. This is over-linking. You link out only once, when the linked text is first used. Check the links you've added have not already been used on the page (several have e.g. to Little St. Bernard, La Rossiere, FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, etc). See: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking
  • the link in red to La Rossiere, France is incorrect (text needs to match exact name of linked page), highlighted in red and a duplicate link
  • heading for sub-section on 'ski' is incorrect. It should be Skiing
  • overlinking e.g. chairlift, gondola, snowpark, downhill, particle physics, etc. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Linking
  • grammar: 'French National institute of nuclear and particle physics' should be French National Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics

Hope this helps. Limelightangel (talk) 15:27, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi @LIUCbargigia6, Note the different purposes of a User page and your Sandbox. The draft edits on your User page should be moved to Sandbox. Limelightangel (talk) 08:11, 29 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
