Hello LMPAJ. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Writing about topics close to your heart

I saw your user page.

One of the reasons that the WP:Conflict of interest guideline exists is that it's harder to write objectively about things you care about than things that are not "near and dear to your heart."

It might help to think about each edit you make to topics related to Passaic from the point of view of someone who assumes you are writing "for the purposes of promotion" before you publish the edit. Hopefully, this will result in all of your edits being appropriate, neutral, not giving undue weight to something, and otherwise being more encyclopedic than they would be if you don't "play devil's advocate" with your edits. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 16:44, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
