That source is not very reliable (it does not, for example, list an author) and is not independent of the subject. It is therefore inadequate for sourcing such fluffy sentences a "He is a brand-builder" - even in the sentence was rearrange to prevent it from being presented in Wikipedia's voice. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Jim Van Eerden. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. VQuakr (talk) 05:44, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

VQuakr, so are executive biographies on corporate websites not considered a reliable source? And I added to your sentence about the PepsiCo project using the same source you used, but you deleted that. Why did you do that? Lah723 (talk) 00:01, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

For pages such as this one with extensive history of looking like PR pieces, we really want sources unaffiliated with the subject. This is a particular problem if the subject is involved enough with the company that they have effective control over the website - at the point, the source is essentially autobiographical. Regarding the PepsiCo cite, I went ahead and removed it - there was no independent source connecting him to that ad campaign, so your query about the content sourced from an article about the ad campaign itself is moot. Good question, though - we always want to be cautious regarding contentious material about living persons. There is lots of room for improvement in the article, but since you seem to have some trouble writing dispassionately about the subject how about proposing changes on the article talk page first?
