Hi,here is my talk page.

Welcome
editHi, Laney! I noticed your post on the Teahouse, and I was surprised to see no one had ever properly welcomed you to the project yet. Like other editors have said, adminship is both extremely difficult to attain and a substantial commitment – just a step below a bureaucrat. However, as editors have also noted, you can do most of what an admin does without ever becoming one. There are practically endless ways to get involved with Wikipedia's community and improve its content, and that's not even counting getting involved with our sister projects.
At the end of the day, just by being here and contributing, you're helping Wikipedia's readers, but you're also helping us, so we're here to help you in return through the Teahouse, any of the dozens of WikiProjects (groups of specialists about a broad category of articles), and other resources in the Community Portal, as well as our personal Talk pages if you have a question for a specific person. The Vanished Murderer
editAt this article you added content to the plot without adding a reference to the article. Your Edit comment mentioned IMBd, but that website is not considered a reliable source because anyone can edit it. (For the same reason, Wikipedia articles are not allowed to reference other Wikipedia articles.) David notMD (talk) 12:51, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
Chinese Resistance During The Second Sino Japanese War moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Chinese Resistance During The Second Sino Japanese War, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Ok,but how do I cite my sources? Laney145 (talk) 11:09, 8 February 2022 (UTC)

editWelcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages (including user talk pages) are for discussion related to improving the article in specific ways based on reliable sources and Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. They are not for general discussion about the article topic or unrelated topics, or statements based on your thoughts or feelings. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.
