A tag has been placed on Stealing Fortunes, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be a biographical account about a person, group of people, or band, but it does not indicate how or why he/she/they is/are notable. If you can indicate why Stealing Fortunes is really notable, I advise you to edit the article promptly, and also put a note on Talk:Stealing Fortunes. Any admin should check for such edits before deleting the article. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Please read our criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 7 under Articles. You might also want to read our general biography criteria. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that admins should wait a while for you to assert his/her/their notability, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and then immediately add such an assertion. It is also a very good idea to add citations from reliable sources to ensure that your article will be verifiable. -- Oldelpaso 17:56, 23 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Polyester

edit

That, of course, was wrong.

If you'd like to correct the chemistry or aesthetics information in the article, you might consider replacing information you think is incorrect with the truth, as you know it to be. Adding "this is wrong" to the ends of sentences is unlikely to be viewed as constructive.

Please let me know if you have real objections to the article's content and want help in making lasting changes, I'd be happy to help.

Notability of 100 crew

edit

A tag has been placed on 100 crew, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ~Matticus TC 14:13, 20 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
