Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "LApublicist", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, service, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are permitted to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, service, or website, regardless of your username. Please also read our paid editing policy and our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please request a change of username, by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out. According to the rules, my username doesn't actually violate anything. I appreciate you checking though, it's nice to be in a community where everyone is helpful and understanding. ||| I just requested a change in the username. Hopefully, then you can unblock me. Thank you. Randompointofview (talk) 16:19, 8 May 2020 (UTC)
Hello, LApublicist. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Draft:Liza Rachenko, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 17:12, 8 May 2020 (UTC)

editIf you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Request reason:
Hello and I understand why you blocked me. As you told me to do before (only 1 day ago, so it hasn't been approved yet) I requested a change in username and I am not using this page for any promotional purposes. I'm not even sure how that would work and why I'd need to promote someone. Sorry if I'm saying something wrong, I just started editing Wiki a little bit ago. I am just one person and nobody is paying me to edit (although I can't help but wish that someone would pay me but no one is :) If in the future, anyone does pay me, I will declare it). I'm taking the time out of my day to make wikipedia better. I just saw an actress in one of the films, googled her, found no wikipedia page about her and decided to write one for her. I am referencing everything from the actress official IMDB profile. Please unblock me and I appreciate you taking the time to look into this. Looking forward to your answer and hopefully you unblocking me. Thank you very much in advance. P.S. Once I am unblocked, I will just make edits to the article referencing the official IMDB page. And I apologize for creating a username that doesn't comply with the rules, I requested a change already, so it should change very soon.
Accept reason:
I have renamed your account, and as the blocking admin has no objection, I will remove the block. Best wishes to you. 331dot (talk) 16:54, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
IMDB is not considered a reliable source on Wikipedia, as it is user-editable. Can you understand why it might be difficult for us to believe that you are an LA publicist but have no connection at all to the actress you wrote about other than seeing her in a film? Are there any other topics you want to edit about? 331dot (talk) 08:33, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hello 331dot. I completely understand what you mean. To be honest, I am not actually an LA publicist, I just chose that as my username because it looked cool. I understand that sounds childish, I am really sorry and I already requested a change of username from LApublicist to my actual name as a person, Lara Vichnezka. My IP address proves that I am actually not an LA publicist, my IP address is from a different country, I'm from Europe. Again, I'm really sorry that I chose that as my username. I hope it'll be changed very soon since I requested it. If you unblock me, I will definitely edit and add more articles on different topics, although I do want to be completely honest with you and say that things related to film interest me most. I will most likely only edit articles because it's rare that Wikipedia actually needs a new article created (most of the time, it's already been created here). I will make sure I cite reliable sources when I write something on any pages. Thanks again for your understanding and I'm sorry to cause this inconvenience.— Preceding unsigned comment added by LApublicist (talk • contribs)
- I will wait for the username change to be processed before considering this further. If you have further replies, please make them as standard, unformatted comments like this, as you only need one open unblock request. Thank you 331dot (talk) 09:46, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you and okay I understand. I saw that you are a global renamer, so I was wondering maybe you could correct my username? I apologize in advance if I am wrong. -Lara. LApublicist (talk) 11:06, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- I am a renamer, but if you have already made a request, that will need to be allowed to proceed. What did you propose as a new username? 331dot (talk) 11:49, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- "Lara Vichnezka". I read the rules for creating usernames. From what I understood, a space should be okay. LApublicist (talk) 12:54, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Under the conditions you describe, I have no trouble with an unblock. As you can imagine, we have a lot of trouble with real live publicists, some of whom have nothing even resembling scruples (even by Hollywood standards). --Orange Mike | Talk 13:16, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Hello Orange Mike and thank you for your answer. I completely understand what you mean. I would imagine you have to deal with a lot of people who vandalize and who don't understand that Wikipedia needs to keep to the facts and not promotion. To be honest, even though you blocked me, I actually have more respect for Wikipedia now that I'd had before. Because I see that it is controlled and checked thouroughly by admins and editors like you and 331dot. I'm pleasantly surprised that I can talk to you and your replies are in a timely manner. Thank you for that. Let's wait for the username change and then it's all up to you. LApublicist (talk) 16:50, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Well, we try to be quick, but that doesn't always happen for various reasons. If you have any questions, please ask.(the Help Desk and Teahouse are good places to) Best wishes. 331dot (talk) 16:56, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
- Okay thank you and good to know. Best wishes to you as well. Lara Vichnezka (talk) 17:10, 9 May 2020 (UTC)

Question
editAre you connected to either Sam1529 or Tom Mark Alexis? GeneralNotability (talk) 02:02, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hello and yes, User:Tom Mark Alexis is my little brother. That's not his real name but I know that's the name he uses on Wikipedia. I'm sorry I don't know who User:Sam1529 is. Sam is the name of our dog but I don't see how that can be related. Sorry I'm not more help. Stay healthy and well! Lara Vichnezka (talk) 03:04, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- Lara Vichnezka, thank you for your reply. I would recommend that both of you disclose your connection on your user pages - if editors are working together like that without declaring their connection, it can be mistaken for WP:SOCK. In just a moment, I will give both of you a standard notice about this so that I can be sure you're given all of the relevant rules. GeneralNotability (talk) 23:37, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
- GeneralNotability , thank you for your reply. Okay I understand. Should I still state the connection even though we aren't working together? I just want to make sure I'm doing everything right. Thank you for clarifying. And I went on your user page and saw a photo of your dog, it's very cute! With everything that's going on right now, it is a nice gesture on your part to remind people that they're not alone. Sorry I could not not text you that. Thanks again. Lara Vichnezka (talk) 14:12, 6 July 2020 (UTC)
- Lara Vichnezka, it would be best if you did state the connection - I actually posted the original message because someone saw that both of you were editing Draft:Liza_Rachenko and was concerned about whether your two accounts might be related (and there was some overlap between Tom Mark Alexis and Sam1529 as well, which is why I mentioned the latter). And thanks for the comment on the dog, believe me, he knows he's cute. GeneralNotability (talk) 18:39, 6 July 2020 (UTC)

July 2020
editHello, Lara Vichnezka, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Tom Mark Alexis (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. GeneralNotability (talk) 23:37, 5 July 2020 (UTC)
I suspect you are well on your way to getting blocked, but among your other violations was your blatantly WP:SNEAKY attempt to circumvent Draft:Cree Cicchino by creating an article clearly not at the WP:COMMONNAME of the subject. This is clearly WP:Disruptive editing, and if you try something like this again, you will be reported. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 03:41, 7 July 2020 (UTC).
- IJBall, I don't appreciate you saying that I'm on my way to getting blocked. That is just plain mean simply because I honestly did not notice that there was already a draft for that actress. I'm genuinely trying to help reduce the backlog for requested articles and an article about that actress was requested. Because the draft does not use the full name of the actress, Wikipedia did not show me that there is a draft here already for the actress. However, your comment made me feel terrible even though I am only trying to help (and I do admit when I make mistakes). There is no need for attacking me. I feel like the past few months have been tough as it is and yes maybe I've been making more mistakes than usual, but we are all people and I believe we can still be nice to each other. Now, I sincerely wish you all the best and I hope you will consider being a little more sensitive to other editors. Thank you. Lara Vichnezka (talk) 04:23, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
