Hello, Laurasweil and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! --L235 (talk) Ping when replying 17:54, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Richmond Nature Park

edit

Where do you want the article to be? Right now it's in Wikipedia:Richmond Nature Park which isn't the right place for it. If you're still working on it as a draft, I can move it back to User:Laurasweil/sandbox2 for you. If you're done and you want it moved into the main space, then move it to Richmond Nature Park (i.e., select the (Article) namespace when you move the page. I'm done with it as a draft and would like to move it to the main space. Do i just copy and paste all of the info from my sandbox2 page to the main space?Laurasweil (talk) 21:03, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

No, you move pages using the 'Move' button (which should be under the 'More' tab at the top of the page (right next to the search box). I moved the article for you, and I will delete the redirect at Wikipedia:Richmond Nature Park. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 21:22, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thank you so much Ian! Laurasweil (talk) 21:30, 17 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
