LaurenOldroyd
Hello Lauren! I hope that we can work together in fine harmony in this project & that we succeed in our endeavours!
Welcome
editHello, LaurenOldroyd and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}}
before the question.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!

Quick Update & Question
editHello again Lauren! I've made the changes that I have been placing onto my Sandbox page onto the page that we are editing, feel free to check it out! Also for my Sandbox I would like to know how to link my sandbox to others without it going to their own. Thanks!
Nick. J. Austin (talk) 14:57, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
--Hello again nick apologies for the late reply, I have tried looking for a solution to your problem and come up with nothing, I advise to post our changes to the talk page for the users/and editors to that page give input or advice to what further changes we can make. Cheers Nick! --LaurenOldroyd (talk) 20:19, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- You can make a link to your sandbox just like you do to any other page on Wikipedia. You put the title of the page in square brackets. Typing [[User:LaurenOldroyd/sandbox]] will result in a link like this: User:LaurenOldroyd/sandbox --Geniac (talk) 22:29, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you Geniac, This has helped us so much! --LaurenOldroyd (talk) 23:53, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
Help us improve the Wikipedia Education Program
editHi LaurenOldroyd! As a student editor on Wikipedia, you have a lot of valuable experience about what it's like to edit as a part of a classroom assignment. In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions by clicking below. (Note that the responses are posted to a public wiki page.) Thanks!
