November 2016

Hello, I'm Iridescent. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to Ratio of fatty acids in different foods— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.  ‑ Iridescent 10:35, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I might not understand a possible Wikipedia-specific meaning of the phrase "because it did not appear constructive". Could you please elaborate what exactly caused you to revert the edits I made? They were done in good faith with an intention to improve informational content of the page - no vandalism or mindless playing was on my mind. Thanks. Laznik (talk) 15:53, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
My apologies—in diff view, it appeared that you were adding an indiscriminate list of information, and I didn't realise that you were actually expanding upon an already-existing indiscriminate list. While I still don't consider the list appropriate for Wikipedia, it's not reasonable to just revert you while leaving the rest intact; I've undone my reversion, and will open a discussion on whether the list as a whole is appropriate. ‑ Iridescent 12:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
