December 2023

edit

Hello, I'm Belbury. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to John Campbell (YouTuber) seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. See the FAQ on the talk page, as well as MOS:CLAIM for use of the word "claimed" and MOS:WEASEL for unattributed "some people say" statements. Belbury (talk) 22:21, 1 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Quoted text

edit

Hi. Please don't change quoted text. The text you changed on the Belfast Telegraph article was part of a quote parameter in the {{citation}} syntax. It was not part of the body text. It was added, to aid in WP:VER, and to confirm that the linked 2013 source (page 5) expressly states that "the Belfast Telegraph has been seen to represent unionist political interests and has always been favoured by the Protestant population". If you have an updated source (or an updated quote), then please provide it. But please do not misrepresent what the linked sources/quotes/etc actually state. Thanks. ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
