Infobox images must be free

edit

I've undone your edits to James Maslow because you are attempting to add an image to the infobox that is not under a free license. You cannot just find an image on the web and claim it as your own work: such as action is a copyright violation. —C.Fred (talk) 02:00, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

I do have permission and I did not got it from the web this is a request from James Maslow him self . --Lcinema (talk) 02:03, 25 November 2018 (UTC) (moved here from User talk:C.Fred to keep thread intact)Reply
Maslow will need to email Commons directly from an official email address to confirm that he has ownership of the image and is releasing it under a free license.
If you're editing at Maslow's request then you are subject to the WP:Conflict of interest rules and restrictions. —C.Fred (talk) 02:07, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Ok can you pls let me know the email so we can send the confirmation . James is asking for that picture to be up, I did send email to confirm the rights . never got a response . that why I tried again . I just need the help so I can make this happen as soon as possible . thanks for your help .--Lcinema (talk) 02:55, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

The email has to come from Maslow directly, not you. Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials has directions. —C.Fred (talk) 13:41, 25 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
