{{helpme}}In the interests of not violating WG:COI, we monitor, but are not editing, the entry about our company (see Legitscript. A recent deletion challenge resulted in a community decision to KEEP the entry. However, the box at time still refers to our entry as a candidate for deletion. It appears that it would be inappropriate for us to remove this box ourselves. What is the appropriate way, now that the decision has been made, to request that it be removed in a way that does not trigger COI concerns and violate WG policy?
Additionally, the box at the top continues to state: "A major contributor to this article appears to have a conflict of interest with its subject." Again, it would clearly be inappropriate for us to do any editing to the entry. What must happen in order for a determination to be made that the entry does not warrant that warning? (Obviously, we can't do or say anything about it ourselves.) We note that since the COI warning was originally put up there, the entry has been reviewed and edited several times, although these were not major edits. - A notice - role accounts are not allowed, accounts are for one person only. Is this account being used by more than one person, as you imply? — neuro(talk) 22:08, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
No. That's good to know. Although it was created with the intent that it might be used by several people, it has not, to date, ever been used by any more than one person. If that's the rule, I'll keep it as a sole user account. LegitScript (talk) 22:49, 23 January 2009 (UTC)Neurolysis: [message]
- As a note, the COI notice is about Millikin07, not you, and should probably be kept on until the content is definitely up to standard. — neuro(talk) 23:27, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
