Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits

At Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of edits, I see that some users are wikilinked, while others are not. Why is this inconsistency? I remember when the older bot used to make reports, none were wikilinked which was very consistent. Thanks! CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 09:14, 31 December 2022 (UTC)

@CX Zoom: Linking some of the usernames is a return to previous behaviour, see Wikipedia talk:List of Wikipedians by number of edits#HaleBot. --Redrose64 🦌 (talk) 14:52, 31 December 2022 (UTC)
Thanks Redrose64. I was unaware of that discussion. And honestly, I did not read the line explaining this. CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {CX}) 12:26, 1 January 2023 (UTC)

Request for some database reports

Is it possible to get a before-scheduled run for Wikipedia:Database reports/Polluted categories and Wikipedia:Database reports/Polluted categories (2)? I have just done a very large cleanout and I want to see how many I missed. And thank you for running this task, which is a lifesaver... jp×g 07:36, 7 January 2023 (UTC)

@JPxG: the first report is running now, it takes about 25 minutes. For the second report, maybe @DannyS712 can help you with that one. Legoktm (talk) 23:25, 7 January 2023 (UTC)
Wow, I missed more than I thought!!! Thanks a bunch. jp×g 02:01, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

Reorganizing the skin RfC

After discussion the RfC has been reorganized, sorting comments into "support", "oppose," "neutral", and "RfC discussion" subsections. I placed yours into that last one, that cool or do you want it to go under "oppose" or "neutral"? --Kizor 23:28, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

@Kizor: that's probably fine, my comment is more of a procedural opposition to the RfC in the first place. Thanks for trying to make things more manageable. Legoktm (talk) 01:33, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

Wow re editing streaks

Hey, I found your work on editing streaks fascinating, as the #6 human editor on this list ... if it wasn't for WiFi problems at Los Angeles International Airport, I might've been #3! For a long time I've been interested to know whether other users have made more than e.g. 100/200/250 edits per month since June 2005, as I have. Perhaps that'd be harder to calculate, but I thought I'd ask. Also, I know your editing streaks tool is still in very early stages of development, but right now as a screen reader user I have to view the HTML source to be able to make any sense out of the "Streak history"section; for my money that'd probably be best as a table, but YMMV. P.s. now I regret this lack of main namespace editing (due to having a very light watchlist that day), which put me out of contension for the main namespace list. :-) Graham87 09:57, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

@Graham87: thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately you learned the hard way to never fly through LAX :p
I was thinking of adding an option to adjust the time period, so you could look up consecutive weeks of making an edit or months, I don't think it would be that much more difficult to also add an option to also adjust how many edits were made in that time period. It is more difficult to find all users who meet some streak criteria just because of how slow it is, so far my strategy has been to find all the users who meet the criteria over a short time period (e.g. 1 year) and then follow each user's contribution history individually. I'll think a bit if there's a faster way to look up a streak of 250 edits per month...
And I've converted the streak history section to a table, thanks for pointing out that it wasn't accessible. Legoktm (talk) 05:57, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
