Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically User:Leisure Pirate, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Werieth (talk) 12:16, 15 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Time Persons of the Year 1951–1975

edit

Hi there. I notice you recently contributed to Time Person of the Year. It would be great to have your opinion on an ongoing RfC at Template talk:Time Persons of the Year 1951–1975, regarding how entries for 1960 and 1975 are listed. Thanks. - HIGHFIELDS (TALKUPLOADS) 23:46, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your user page

edit

Hello,

As mentioned here, just a friendly reminder that Wikipedia is not a free hosting service. There is a great liberty on the use of user pages, but they should still be used primarily to present information relevant to working on the encyclopedia. I don't know what you're attempting to do on yours, but I can't see either the connection with contributing to the encyclopedia, or something that you couldn't do in another place than Wikipedia. Okay then

If its in the rules then fair enough, but at the very least could I look at a copy of the deleted page's content so I can put it elsewhere? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Leisure Pirate (talkcontribs) 22:27, 11 July 2014‎ (UTC)Reply

I think you can ask to have a copy made available to you at WP:Undelete. Place Clichy (talk) 12:15, 12 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • It's not going to be done. Throughout the now-deleted article you've linked to various things that have nothing to do with the actual stated content. For example, stating that the link goes to a historical event when it actually goes to cumshot, and so on. It's so extensively done throughout the infoboxes you created that it looks as if your only reason for creating them is so you can cut/paste them into various different articles. Since you didn't have the chance to do this, I'm giving you one warning: do not vandalize Wikipedia or you will be blocked from editing. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:05, 13 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have restored the page to User:Leisure Pirate/Template testing, but heed Tokyogirl79's warning. You will get no further warnings: Any attempt you make to vandalize infoboxes in that manner will result in a permanent block on your account. ~Amatulić (talk) 15:55, 26 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
