Creating links
editWelcome as a new editor.
When adding links within other articles, please look carefully at what you are adding to. The links in the See also category of the Stained glass article plainly does not contain any links to individual artists or firms, as there are hundreds of them. One movie about one artist doesn't require a link in that particular list, which is of articles of general relevance to the article as a broad whole. The article needs listing in the See also section to the article on Harry Clarke specifically.

edit Please do not use Wikipedia to promote businesses. Wikipedia is not the "Yellow Pages". If you want to list a company for potential customers to find, please consider alternative outlets, such as Wikia's Yellowikis. Thank you. specifically Harry Clarke - Darkness into light' RashersTierney (talk) 16:17, 2 February 2011 (UTC)
I'm not promoting a business, I have added a film on the artist Harry Clarke. I think it's as legitimate as any other film/documentary included on Wikipedia and reflects an important aspect of Irish culture. I hope to add more Irish film and documentary past & present.

- Have you edited on Wikipedia before? You seem to have a technical competence unusual for a new arrival and in an area that has been subject to dynamic IP spamming. RashersTierney (talk) 12:41, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
I went through the stages step by step as laid out by Wikipedia and looked at similar film/documentary articles to get it right.

- So your answer is that you haven't edited here before under a different account or IP address? RashersTierney (talk) 15:16, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
I write about film, I don't have a COI. If the article seems biased that is my bad editing but I tried to keep it as standard as possible. Maybe it should be a stub. LennoxRobinson (talk) 16:59, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
- Fair enough. I've struck through my comment above, assuming good faith. If you are still editing under a different account, please be aware of our policy on alternative accounts. RashersTierney (talk) 19:53, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Can you remove the COI box from the article? LennoxRobinson (talk) 13:56, 7 February 2011 (UTC)
