Edit warring

Hi - I've just been looking at the editing history at Velayudham. It seems that after Deepfriedokra protected the page, your first action was to revert to an earlier version from before the edit warring started. A better approach is to go to the talk page in discuss the area of disagreement. From what I could gather from the edit summaries, it revolves around which source is the more reliable to support an assertion about the film's budget. If it is not possible to come to an agreement on that question at the talk page, you could post at WP:RSN to get other people's opinions. Best Girth Summit _(blether) 15:55, 9 August 2021 (UTC)

@User:Girth Summit Sir, That user was not at all listening even if I said to him he was using an unreliable references. He was constantly pulling the box office figures from 90 crore to 60 crore by adding an unreliable madras muslings source in the Velayudham article. Its clearly an motivated campaign editor pulling down the box office figures of Vijay films. If I revert his edits he uses very bad words. Sir please keep a main note of Velayudham and Vettaikaaran pages sir. Even if I have used the film talk page surely he wont listen he would have used bad words again. Leopardsrun, I appreciate that, and I've blocked that account - primarily for the extremely aggressive edit summaries, but the fact that you and they were continuing the edit war is an aggravating factor. Propose the change on the talk page - if nobody objects, make the change. If anybody else starts edit warring and using obscene edit summaries, report them to administrators.
