Thank you!

edit

Hey! Just want to say thank you very much for your help with the Paddy Casey page, that was driving me mad! I didn't know much about tables, so i was really chancing my arm... but live and learn i guess, and thanks for the tips!

Give me a shout if you ever need anything looked over - I work with a newspaper, so the English side, if not the technical side, is something in which I should be able to return the favour!

Best of luck, Aidan

Enterprise management redirect

edit

Please, by all means, edit the redirect so that it points to a better target; or make it a disambig page instead. I'm aware of its meaning as a sort-of-but-not-quite synonym for datacenter management or systems management; I just repointed it because Learning organization seemed a bit silly. I also considered that the term might have non-IT-related meanings in logistics, for example, but I don't really know. Cheers! Demi T/C 16:57, 12 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Tava/Tawa and India

edit

Hi there.. Well, I had hoped to see a flag of India as well on your list of traveled countries. Just curious to know where you got to see a Tawa/Tava outside India. Anyway, hope you do come to India sometime and enjoy your journey and stay. --Regards. Miljoshi | talk 08:07, 17 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Shortpages

edit

That was some nice unknowing collaboration on blank pages. wd. =) jnothman talk 13:54, 17 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I also got to that from the HD. As for Image:Shater.jpg, it is almost definitely a copyvio from <http://www.exzooberance.com/virtual%20zoo/they%20walk/camel/camel.htm>, considering that Daloy gave the link to a Google Images search result. Good investigative work! jnothman talk 15:42, 17 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

NZ resident template

edit

Thank you, Lesley, for the heads-up on the User NZ res template.—Stombs 09:28, 18 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your good luck!

edit

I don't think I'm needing it either. I think Radiant has a fair point, except that by the end of the RFA, "only a few dozen non-minor edits" will be fairly incorrect. Thanks again. jnothman talk 04:21, 20 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Sugar Daddy

edit

My mistake, I interpreted Suggar Daddy as a general type of offensive slag (no doubt the true meaning) and therefore attributed the redirection to some joke valdalism. Due to the vandalism, I didn't see the need to explain it, as I figured it was unlikely anyone would see the page again. Synflame

Thanks for your RFA support

Hi LesleyW! I have been on a refreshing wikibreak for the last week, so this is a belated thank-you for supporting my adminship nomination. I hope to see you around some more, and if you ever need anything, let me know. Happy new year (if that's your kind of thing)! jnothman talk 18:11, 31 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay

edit

Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
