Welcome!
editWelcome to Wikipedia, Lexlythius! I am The ed17 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. Thank you for your contributions. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or type {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Introduction
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- How to write a great article
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.
I gathered from your contributions that you are interested in warships. We have a major project associated with the battleships and battlecruisers of the world, if you're interested: WP:OMT. Again, welcome, and thanks for your helpful edits.

- Hi Ed, thanks for the cookies :-)
- I am indeed interested in warships, but more generally in WWII-era weapons. Ships, aircraft, tanks...
- I probably lack the necessary amount of book references to write my own articles (plus, being a non-native English speaker puts my writing skills a step behind compared to what I'm used to find at Wikipedia). But on the bright side, I can be of use finding and comparing technical specifications, as I did in my previous edits. For the time being, I'll try to fix some specs on ARA Rivadavia and Moreno and the ship class as a whole since I've found some incongruences.
- If you think I can give a hand on something else, let me know.
- Regards,

- You're welcome! You don't have to be an article writer to help us; fact-checking is always appreciated. We try to make the articles 100% accurate, but occasionally we (or even a source!) slips up. If you like what you are doing, by all means please continue. Thanks so much! Ed [talk] [majestic titan] 05:13, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
