Generic secondary

I think upper secondary would be a much better alternative. Please feel free to change the articles. The Education in Norway page talks about upper and lower secondary schools rather than high schools. The Norwegian upper secondaries seem to be more like the English sixth form rather than an American high school as I think the American high schools start at an earlier age. It can get difficult to translate these terms as the school system varies so much from one country to another. In the UK most secondary schools educate children right through from age 11 to age 18 so there is no association with compulsory schooling. High school seems to be used for North American schools in particular where there the schools generally only seem to cater for the last four years of education, though I'm not clear at what age compulsory education ends in the US and Canada. The other alternative is perhaps to keep the original Norwegian terminology and provide an explanation in brackets. Dahliarose (talk) 09:01, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
