Psychology wiki
editHi Joe, checked out your wiki and your blog, etc. - am tempted by your invite message to contribute to Psychology Wiki, however must confess I'm less than tempted due to the prominence of Google Ads on the site. I also think it could be helpful to outline what kinds of contributions would belong best on WP and what in PW, does PW use WP content, etc. I am well meaning, but have seen plenty of crappy WikiMedia installations replicating WP content and which are just ad farms, so I need a little convincing. Kind regards, Jtneill - Talk 23:36, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Clinical career and Wiki Stuff
editHey Lifeartist. I am a psychology undergrad studying just down the road from you, Newman College in Birmingham. I'm hopefully going to get a good degree class and am wanting to work in Clinical. I've recently started tidying up lots of Psychology articles on Wikipedia, and once my exams are over will probably start something on the psychology wiki as well. Just saying hello for now :) Mostly Zen 23:46, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
= Hi Lifeartist, thanks for your message on my talkpage. I am definately interested in helping out on the Psychology wiki, and will have a look at the topics I am currently revising (biopsychology of depression, schizophrenia and substance abuse) today. After my exams I will be able to contribute more. As for the placement, well, that would be excellent work experience and is exactly the kind of thing I need to do, but I need to earn some money over this summer, so I'm not sure I'd be able to do that full time or for the whole 3 months. I'll contribute to the wiki, see how things go and get in touch with you at some point. Fantastic idea for this wiki by the way, I can see that it will gradually work out very well. Rating the ToK
editHi Joe. I'm trying to get members of the Psychology Project to get together and rate the both the quality and importance of the Tree of Knowledge System. Hope you're interested. Have a great day! EPM 19:14, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Transtherapy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. However if you edit on psychological subjects, I look forward to reading more of your edits and articles.:) special, random, Merkinsmum 19:01, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
DSM-IV Proposal
editWould you consider adding any input to our proposal regarding the DSM-IV. Input is being collected on our talk page. Thanks! Mindsite (talk) 22:04, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
The article Character Strengths and Virtues (book) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
