Thank you for the invite. I will be making use of the Teahouse as (with having ADHD) my ‘superpower’ that comes with it is that I can spot everyone else’s mistakes.

Therefore, when I look up a page on Wiki just to check something, and find that people have lacked citation in their work, or made assertions that are not true, it irritates me to the point where I have always wanted to edit & correct the information, but previously have not had the time to do so. I also feared incurring the wrath of people if I was to correct a long-accepted mistruth/mistake, or would have some sort of disciplinary action taken against me if I could not find an article online with which to back up the information I know to be correct.

I look forward to chatting to other editors/moderators and asking their advice, as this is actually something I would relish doing as a career.

Kind regards LikiWikiNiki (talk) 22:07, 10 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi Diannaa,
I’ve only just seen your message above from 2022 regarding removing my additions to W Series (championship). It’s so long ago that I don’t remember it, but where would I go to be able to see the difference between what I added versus the original article? As whatever I added/changed has gone, is that going to require logging in & will the W Series (championship) page still show all previous versions including my briefly edited version, or is it only ‘accepted’ or ‘correct’ versions of pages that are kept?
I see I have had one other edit rejected on my account back in 2016, but it was from a bot instead of a human. That 2016 bot notification even now still displays a side by side comparison of the original version & my mistakenly edited version of that page, whereas all I know presently about my edit to the page we are discussing is that it wasn’t eligible for several reasons & was therefore removed.
I apolosige for being a novice, but we all have to start somewhere, and we all need to know exactly where to go to look & check for things.
