Hi! I'm Brand new at this! Please post messages! I sent this to myself! Lilyanashannon (talk) 20:19, 2 April 2012 (UTC) |
Hello.
editDear online reader,
Hi. You might wonder why I sent a Writer's Barnstar to myself. Well, I thought it would attract attention from other wiki users. I know, it's pretty dumb but I thought it might work.

Welcome!
editWelcome to Wikipedia, Lilyanashannon! Thank you for your contributions. I am Harkey Lodger and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. You can also check out Wikipedia:Questions or type {{helpme}}

- Introduction

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Harkey (talk) 22:13, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
A sandbox is a page/subpage that serves as a testing spot and page development space for the user.
You can find your sandbox(provided you are logged-in) at the top of every Wikipedia page.

You can edit in almost everything. You can correct spelling errors, add more information or something :) I since there is something called "Random Page". It can press and then come to some random pages :)

There should be a button saying [edit] in blue next to each header of the article you wish to edit. All you need to do is click that and you will be taken to a page that you can edit. The only exception will be if the page has some sort of protection. In that case you can leave a request on the talk page (click "view source" at the top of the articles page and then "submit an edit request" from the new page)
