October 2009
editWelcome to Wikipedia when you edited your edits were fine but when you put something new in the category [[Category:Worst Actor Razzie winners]], and {{Razzie Award for Worst Actor}} but User:QueenofBattle, and User talk:QueenofBattle removed and Category:Worst Actor Razzie winners, and {{Razzie Award for Worst Actor}} category from George W. Bush please don't do that that again otherwise you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 75.141.100.115 75.141.100.115 19:09, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
This is a further issue. WP:ACTOR concluded long ago that these are bad faith parody awards, not legitimate industry awards and wouldn't be listed on article filmographies and by extension, navboxes are included. Please don't add Razzie templates to actor articles. Wildhartlivie (talk) 02:39, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
- Actors, actresses and directors all fall under that project. A discussion is currently taking place regarding the appropriateness of using these templates on articles. Please do not continue adding these templates to articles until a consensus is determined. Wildhartlivie (talk) 03:41, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Nelson Meirelles
editA tag has been placed on Nelson Meirelles requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Ongoing deletion discussion
editHi, They're talking about what to do with this template.
Since you went to the trouble of creating it, you should present your case. Why is it valuable? What makes it worth having? Right?
Let's have your point of view.

MTV Movie Awards templates
editPlease don't continue adding the wide variety of templates to actor articles. A discussion is currently underway regarding the use of these templates as extraneous. The reasoning is that they are only adding more bulk to the articles without adding sufficient content to warrant their use. The win is linked in the filmography of the majority of articles and the templates add information regarding all the other actors on the template and not relating even what the win is for. Nonexistent categories
editStop adding the category "Saturday Night Live Cast Members" to articles. If you'll bother to look after you add the category, you'll see that it doesn't exist. Categories don't magically appear on Wikipedia simply because you add them to articles. You're creating a mess for the rest of us to clean up. 71.77.21.198 (talk) 00:54, 12 March 2010 (UTC)
fyi, since you seem interested in this category

Lima Neto
editYou may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
The article Lima Neto has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.
Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. You can use your user page to write about yourself. NawlinWiki (talk) 22:07, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?
Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements, and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but it is considered inappropriate for such groups to use Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.
- Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?
Probably not. See Wikipedia:FAQ/Organization for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, or organization. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.
- What can I do now?
You are still welcome to write about something other than your company or organization. If you do intend to make useful contributions on some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:
- Add the text
{{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}}
below this message box. - Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
- Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
- Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
- Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Religious denomination categories
editOn Wikipedia a person must self-identify with a particular denomination before being categorized; and the only way to know if they self-identify is a source indicating that the person is currently Catholic (or Baptist, or atheist, or whatever). That standard is frequently violated because many people think they can put anything about a person's religous beliefs in an article without reliable sourcing. That is what is unsourced in the article. If someone grows up an atheist but is now a Christian (see William J. Murray), do we put that person in the "Atheists" category?" MANY people grow up in a particular denomination (or lack thereof in Murray's case) but do not end up claiming that perspective when they are adults. This is a simple matter of following one of the very cornerstones of Wikipedia: "The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth." Danny DeVito may very well be a Catholic right now, but the article doesn't state that. If you want to restore the category, please find a sourced statement to that effect. And remember, the responsibility for sourcing is on the person who adds or restores information. Thank you. Cresix (talk) 04:39, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Amber Heard article, read WP:BLPCAT
editHello, Lima Neto. I see above that you have been informed of WP:BLPCAT. It is something that we are supposed to adhere to. And because of that, Heard should not be placed in the lesbian or bisexual categories. While she identifies as being a part of the LGBT community, she does not identify as lesbian or bisexual. Not publicly at least. Read WP:BLPCAT and this discussion for why we keep removing Heard from the previously mentioned categories. Flyer22 (talk) 02:33, 8 January 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Lima neti
editIf this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Lima neti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 05:39, 9 January 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for July 11
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Arnaldo Antunes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Domingo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:15, 11 July 2015 (UTC)

Your edits to From Me to You
editHello. Your edits to the article are vandalism, as I see it. I suggest you discuss either here or on the article’s Talk page rather than keep at it. As I said in my first edit summary, the article states that the song originally peaked at 116 in the USA on the “Bubbling Under” portion of the 1963 charts. Making it 16 by deleting the first numeral is simply vandalism, and subject to sanctions. Take heed. Jusdafax (talk) 03:55, 17 January 2018 (UTC)
