- Sorry for my mistake. Now I requested deletion of that image. If you can do, please upload a genuine licensed image of Jasprit bumrah on commons because he is no. 1 bowler in ODI rankings as of now. I searched but cannot get the image which do not violate wikipedia policy. Kindly accept my request. Thank you. Lina Merlin (talk) 06:05, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Unfortunately I don't have an image of him, and a search on Google Images suggests no suitably licensed image exists on the web. Railfan23 (talk) 06:08, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Is there any other ways? Lina Merlin (talk)
- No there isn't. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Including copyrighted text or images puts the entire project at legal jeopardy. Unless someone takes their own image of Jasprit and releases it under a suitable license, we cannot use it. Railfan23 (talk) 06:22, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Can I upload image which i took from TV in my own? Lina Merlin (talk) 06:30, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- I'm afraid not, television broadcasts are copyrighted. Railfan23 (talk) 06:34, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- If I took a photo in my phone, It's my own image. Broadcasters only have right on video streaming not photos. They have rights to telecast matches only. So using photo is not a copyright violation. Can I upload? Lina Merlin (talk) 06:56, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- No you can't. Television broadcasts are copyrighted. The images they broadcast are their copyright. Unless you have their written permission, you cannot redistribute those images. I suggest you become more familiar with US and International copyright law before you attempt to upload further images. Good luck, Railfan23 (talk) 06:58, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

- what is OTRS? Lina Merlin (talk) 06:25, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- OTRS is software that manages tickets. It is the system that Commons uses to manage and reply to user email requests, see [1] Railfan23 (talk) 06:34, 1 August 2019 (UTC)

Final warning for copyright violation
editThat latest image is a blatant copyright violation of this image. You cannot just upload copyrighted images you find on the web to Wikipedia. If you do this again, you will likely be blocked from editing without further warning. Stop. Railfan23 (talk) 07:40, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- I am the real copyright holder. I published it under correct license. Some websites use my image without my permission. Lina Merlin (talk) 07:42, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Really? [2] took the image from you? How exactly did they do that? What evidence do you have to support this claim? Railfan23 (talk) 07:44, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Are you learnt now? There are many websites using same image without attributing real owner. Is there any action taken on them by real copyright holder? I want to show that you. So I lied I'm real owner. Sorry. Lina Merlin (talk) 07:49, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's another image. Not mine. Lina Merlin (talk) 07:46, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- It's a crop of the same image. Its clearly a professional photograph of Jasprit, taken by a sports journalist. Are you a sports journalist? When did you take that photo, and what agency or newspaper do you work for? Railfan23 (talk) 07:47, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Many websites use same images. Lina Merlin (talk) 07:50, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- That does not give you permission to claim that you are the copyright holder. In any way. The fact that you lied is disgraceful. Passing off someone else's work as your own. Well, no image you upload now will be allowed. One more attempt at this behvior and I'll make a full report to the administrators here and on Commons and make sure you are blocked. You are way past acceptable behavior. Railfan23 (talk) 07:54, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
- Sorry, I am going to leave Wikipedia forever. Jasprit Bumrah--- The name is enough to show his achievements and ODI ranking. His image is not necessary. Good bye Wikipedia. Lina Merlin (talk) 07:59, 1 August 2019 (UTC)
