edit As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Draft:Demola The Violinist, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:LindaTI1, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LindaTI1|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. I believe you previously had disclosed your paid editing status with regards to this draft, but you appear to have removed that disclosure. Could you please explain? Thank you. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 06:41, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi. I first submitted this entry because I believed the musician to be of rare talent--a modern violin virtuoso, musician, singer, performer. Expecting all musicians to hit music charts, receive Grammys etc, is not acknowledging that our world is more decentralized and significant individuals shouldn't have to follow traditional paths to be considered "notable." I was paid a very small sum for the first version. After the submission was rejected and the subject launched a masterwork and received significant media coverage, I re-researched, rewrote, and resubmitted, without being paid anything. I resubmitted for no payment because I believe the subject is a highly talented musician who received significant coverage of his work, which was documented in the submission. My bio says that not all of my edits and submissions are paid and that is true. LindaTI1 (talk) 20:09, 12 December 2022 (UTC)
