Your draft article, Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Dia Compe

edit

Hello Littlebluenick. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Dia Compe".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Dia Compe}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 16:00, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the James Ward-Prowse article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 15:41, 6 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

really? I got it from the paragraph below about his playing style, which did have a reference. I think it is such an important part of his game that it should be in the top paragraph. Don't you? Littlebluenick (talk) 17:50, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
There really is a hell of a lot of gumph in that article and I am really disappointed that you thought what I said was "contentious", and that you did not read the rest of the article for reference. I quote ". Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous."
You did not need to remove my simple sentence that added actual value to the first paragraph. The crap about his children's names and what people "think of him" is a waste of space, yet you decided what I said was contentious. I will return it with a very simple source and I urge you to consider the purpose of an encyclopedia. Littlebluenick (talk) 17:44, 9 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
