Important Notice
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
March 2020
editThis is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Josh Bernstein (talk show host), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Doug Weller talk 17:25, 26 March 2020 (UTC)
- So who made you the editor of all editors and the decision maker of all decision makers? I removed imflammatory and biased opinions. This is YOUR warning to not engage YOUR bias on the platform and stick to facts. Littlelady007 (talk) 23:54, 11 July 2024 (UTC)
Josh Bernstein (talk show host)
editHello, Littlelady007. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Josh Bernstein (talk show host), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. :Jay8g [V•T•E] 03:29, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
- I have no outside relationship with Josh Bernstein save for the updating of his page with information. HOWEVER I do get a little protective of ANY page that is willfully and knowingly attacked maligned harrassed or degraded due to political differences. If you look at the corrections I have done now three or four times on this page you will see people like Wade attempt to post imflammatory and derogatory information rather than chronological and historical fact. Then to tell me if I don't allow it he is going to remove my editing priviledges, and to add several warnings as if the page is biased and unsourced? I find his behavior and actions less tham professional. Littlelady007 (talk) 17:38, 12 July 2024 (UTC)
