- Thank you! Trying to learn how to cite quotes and post updates so I can update information for Artist Management clients. Can the last Jake update be put back with the Copyrighted text in question omitted so I don't have to redo the entire post with all of the other citations? I had thought that citing the text back to another Wikepedia site was permissible. That was an extraordinary amount of work to have to start over with from scratch again. Please advise.

- The top message I put on this page has links to most of the policies and procedures to edit Wikipedia. It also looks like you may have a conflict of interest in editing articles for your clients, see article Wikipedia:Conflict of interest for more. The text you added read too much like a promo piece and did not have the neutrality of an encyclopedia article. Also other wikis of any sort can't be used as reference here and that includes using Wikipedia itself as a reference. We need to get to the root reliable sources for all information. As to re-using text from other wikis, that may be possible if the rules for attribution outlined at that wiki are followed and that wiki permits it. It is best to put original text here though, as the rules for attribution to other wikis allowing it are usually fairly strict. All info, even if from other sites that allow it, still must have reliable sources --Geraldo Perez (talk) 02:51, 10 January 2013 (UTC)
