Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Gun Lover per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Gun Lover. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Girth Summit (blether) 14:01, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
Look, you can't just keep creating new accounts. Read WP:SO, wait ix months, don't do any more socking, then request unblock in six months from your original account (or, if you no longer have the password for that, from whichever account you have access to. Okay, thank you. When Guns & Glory got the indefinite block I thought it meant it was a permanent block. I didn't read the policies till it was too late. I'll wait till 6 months or more. I'm sorry that I was a pain to deal with, these last few weeks. Seeing my edits that got reverted was upsetting. LoafingCat (talk) 14:09, 24 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
When you appeal the unblock, you're going to have to address the fact that you left messages on that talk page while logged out that were clearly intended to give the impression that you were someone else - you were referring to Guns & Glory in the third person. That's a pretty shady thing to do. It's not a hanging offense, and it wouldn't necessarily stand in the way of you being unblocked, but don't just rock up and say 'it's been six months, please unblock me' - you're going to have to convince the reviewing admin that you're not going to do anything like that again.
