Additions to WP:AIV

I understand your frustrations, but this is something that hasn't really been worked out enough on article talk pages. As such, I've removed the notices on WP:AIV for the time being. You're right in trying to avoid a revert war, and I commend you for that, so keep cool, stay patient, and see if this user will come around to discussing the changes he's interested about in the proper manner. Let me know if things escalate. Tijuana BrassE@ 20:17, 11 June 2006 (UTC)

Your User Page Vandalism of User:CDMACORE

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits to user pages, such as those you made to User:CDMACORE, are considered user page vandalism. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the hard work of others. Thanks. Please do not delete warning templates from your user talk page so quickly, as it circumvents their purpose. After a reasonable period of time — I'd suggest at least two weeks — you may archive it.
You may also want to consider that by now you've had advice from three separate editors to pursue a more cool-headed course of action. Are you sure you want to get so worked up over such a small dispute? Tijuana BrassE@ 00:50, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Note

Welcome (again)! Just so you know, please do not leave messages on the user pages of users; instead, leave messages on their user talk pages (like this page). Also, please read WP:VAND before handing out harsh vandalism notices- vandalism only includes obvious vandalistic efforts to damage this encyclopedia, like page blankings or adding nonsense ("#@*$$SLD"). Content disputes/attacks are not considered vandalism. Thanks, Andy t 00:49, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Please do not remove messages from your talk page. Talk pages exist as a record of communication, and in any case, comments are available through the page history. You're welcome to archive your talk page, but be sure to provide a link to any deleted comments. Thanks. Andy t 00:50, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

User warnings

While archiving a talk page is permissible, it is misleading and deceitful to remove indications that warning tags have been removed by not displaying any reference to your archives. Given that your warning is less than a week old, this is especially important. Be patient.

On a side note, you may be interested in the ongoing discussion concerning this at Wikipedia:Removing warnings. Tijuana BrassE@ 19:43, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
