Kellner
editHello: I noticed you helped to establish the Laubach, Germany, page on the Polish Wikipedia. You may have noticed that my grandfather, Friedrich Kellner, is mentioned on both the German and English versions of the Laubach page. I wonder if you could help me, please, to place a copy of the Friedrich Kellner page on Polish Wikipedia? My email is rskellner AT cox DOT net and if you email me I would be able to send you the English text. But I have no skills with the Polish language. There is also a separate page on English Wikipedia for the Friedrich Kellner Diary and for the documentary film that the Canadians made about him: My Opposition: the Diaries of Friedrich Kellner. But translating all of these pages for the Polish Wikipedia would be too much work. Could you -- or perhaps a friend of yours -- at least get biographical information about him on Polish Wikipedia? There are many entries in Friedrich Kellner's WWII diary about both the Russian and German devastation of Poland during the war. Thank you for your help. - Thank you for your response. I understand your situation. I will follow your advice and try someone else. Again, thank you. Rskellner 16:58, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you so very much, Logolego. I have just seen the Polish Wikipedia entry about Friedrich Kellner. I truly appreciate your help. Perhaps others will also help now, when they see what you have started. Thank you. Scott Rskellner 17:06, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
:Logolego: I added some links and a photo to the Polski page, but then a robot placed a "spam" notice on the discussion page. Now I am afraid the page will be erased. Could you please look at the discussion page and keep the robot from erasing the page? http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyskusja:Friedrich_Kellner Thank you very much.
