Harper's Island

edit

Hey, just a friendly reminder that when describing the plot of fictional televison shows, such as Harper's Island, it is convention to use present tense. I noticed you've changed the notes under the death chart a couple of times now, so I thought I would let you know. Thanks and happy editing. --Jackieboy87 (talk · contribs) 12:44, 25 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm reverting your edits regarding guest stars. As of episode 5, C.J. Thomason and Jim Beaver are billed as stars of the show, separate from and credited above the guest stars. Monkeyzpop (talk) 08:17, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for changing an earlier edit I had done where I added the word, dramatic, before the word, series . You were right: removing it made it read better. Plus, dramatic wasn’t necessary since one assumes that such a show is a drama. After all, what else could it be?! Although, if it were a comedy, then I guess we’d have to be certain to specify comedy since one would never expect a show like this to be funny; in which case, a qualifier like comedy would be necessary … but now I’m rambling … Thanks again! Image tagging for File:Whap.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Whap.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

To add this information, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 13:05, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Abby.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Abby.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:07, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:Cousinben.png)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Cousinben.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:15, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of J.D. Dunn

edit

A tag has been placed on J.D. Dunn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Christopher "Sully" Sullivan

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Christopher "Sully" Sullivan, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable minor fictional character.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 09:23, 28 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Whap

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Whap. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harper's Island episodes. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:26, 25 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
