Offering of peace
editHey Loopy,
I wanted to extend the olive branch to you, Loopedgirl, since I've been unlucky enough to win your particular enmity. I don't mind being made fun of — a sure sign of a perfect fool, no? — and it's good to be reminded of my failings. I do get too emotional and too wordy, but I'm afraid there's no hope for a cure, at least in this lifetime. ;) And my Latin is pretty mediocre, never having had the pleasure of a fine teacher, or a community of friends with whom to talk about it. That's one benefit of Wikipedia; I'm no longer alone. :)
I appreciate your insight and power in choosing words and images, but won't you please soften your edge a little? Sometimes images can mean more than you imagine; for example, a bondage image can be frightening to someone who is hunted.
I borrowed a camera from a friend in the next village; this is the nicest flower in my whole garden. Won't you accept it, as a peace offering, a sign of hope that we'll be friends someday? Life is too brief to hold on to anger and dislike. I'm really nice, and I'm sure that you are, too; I think we might be friends? We should forgive each other our shortcomings and be peaceful; someday we'll laugh together. :) Willow (talk) 16:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
